NASHVILLE RECORD LABEL TO SHOOT MUSIC VIDEO AT LHS HIGH SCHOOL

Transient

Playback Records has hired LA-based film producer David Heavener to film a music video at Lawrenceburg High School on August 12 and 13, 2012

David Heavener usually shoots his productions at his production studio in Southern California. This week-end, however, he will bring his crew to Lawrenceburg IN. Heavener was hired by Jack Gale of Playback Records to write, produce, and direct a music video to accompany the release of the first single for the group JetSetGetSet, who signed with Playback Records this summer. JetSet GetSet members include Lawrenceburg High School students Avery Eliason, 14, Tori Little, 15, Sadie Loveland, 15, and guitar player Justen Jette, 14.

“Initially we planned to shoot the video in Nashville,” says Heavener. “But after meeting with the girls during their recording session, we came up with the idea to shoot in the girls home town, using their friends and their school. This is a very organic, home-grown musical group, so it just made sense.”

Heavener has spent the last several days scouting out locations for the video shoot. After talking with principal Bill Snyder, football coaches, and students, he was convinced that he’d made the right choice in coming to Lawrenceburg.

“I really like this school (Lawrenceburg High School.) There’s a really good feeling here, lots of positive energy.”
